Scott Blackwood Vocal Arts Academy

Founded by Emily and Christopher Scott, the Scott Blackwood Vocal Arts Academy is designed to provide underprivileged high school students with access to vocal training, audition techniques and essential tools for success in a vocal arts discipline at the collegiate level. The performing arts sector favors those with resources, leaving many capable individuals without opportunities to develop their skills or to pursue higher education. Blackwood Arts is proud to support this program and for the 2025 season will be sponsoring 3 full-ride scholarships to the 5-day immersive vocal training camp at the Slippery Rock University campus.
