Blackwood's 2025 Season of Events

- BETA QuartetSun, Jun 22Chamber music at its finest! Appearing for the first time at Blackwood, this award-winning flute quartet will push the boundaries of flute playing with an exceptional performance by flutists Tatiana Cassetta, Meg Brennan, Eftihia Arkoudis, and Cassandra Eisenreich. A real treat for everyone!
- Make-A-Wish Fundraising ConcertSun, Jul 13Blackwood's annual fundraising concert to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation will feature the very talented Donnie Rankin. Winner of the 2007 ATOS Young Theater Organist Competition, Donnie has studied under noted organist Jelani Eddington and has performed for audiences around the world.
- Dave Wickerham Theater Organ ConcertSun, Sep 07A house favorite at Blackwood, renowned organist Dave Wickerham will bring you a one-of-a-kind performance you won't want to miss! Whether he is playing ragtime, big band, classical pops or sacred music, you will be totally immersed in his musical performance. Register soon before this sells out.
- Ragtime Piano Concert with Adam SwansonSun, Sep 21Four-time World Champion for Old Time Piano Playing, Adam Swanson is returning to Blackwood to liven the music room with his toe-tapping, high energy ragtime music. Gracing the stages of Carnegie Music Hall and the Kennedy Center to name a few, Adam's talent is something you won't want to miss.
- Silent Film 'The Black Pirate' featuring organist Clark WilsonSun, Oct 05'The Black Pirate' starring the dashing, gallant Douglas Fairbanks is an unqualified masterpiece of the silent film era. Restored to its original Technicolor, the film ripples with customary intrigue and inventive stunts, all performed by Fairbanks himself. Accompanied by organist, Clark Wilson.
- Fundraising Dinner Concert featuring organist Walt StronySun, Oct 19A longtime friend of Blackwood, Walt Strony has been playing the theater and traditional pipe organ all around the globe, from Roxy's Pipe Organ Pizzeria in Las Vegas to Expo '75 and 2011 in Japan. Walt's concert will follow a catered, buffet dinner. Seating limited to 48 for this gala event.
